Summer Term 2022
We have had an exiting start to the Summer Term in Scott Class. We have been doing lots of writing about Pirates in Literacy. In Maths we've been focusing really hard on our number skills, particularly place value.
In Topic we've been learning about the Victorians and about some intresting places around the world, including London and Hawaii.
In art we've been creating our own impressionist art and making our own city skylines.
Spring Term 2022
We're all really excited to be back in school after the Christmas Break. We've got lots and lots to look forward to this term.
A lot of out work in Literacy is about life on a Farm. We've got a farm trip planned for Mid March, after half-term, we can't wait!
We're also really looking forward to some of our Topics in P.E. this term. We find Yoga very relaxing and enjoy doing it to some calming music. Although are catching skill are already pretty good, we can't wait to improve even more when its time for MATP.
In Maths, we're going to build on some of the skills we've already learnt in the Autumn Term. We love hands on activities in Maths.
Mr Bank's cooking lessons are going to link in with our Farm trip, we're going to learn all about how food gets from the fields to our forks.
Autumn Term 2021
We've had a great time in Scott Class. We've really enjoyed getting to know all the new adults and children in our class.
Some of the highlights of the Autumn Term have been getting ready for and performing in the M-Factor. We even won a trophy as a class, Most Entertaining!!!!
We've also really enjoyed all of our Literacy topics. There's lots to choose from, but our favourite was making puppets and performing puppet shows. Pizza Parlor Role Plays came a close second!
We've had Mr Banks for Cooking and Topic. In Cooking we've been learning all about bread. In Topic we've ;earnt about Britain and some of its landmarks. History has been all about the Ancient Greeks!
We also like to do lots of Sensory Activities in Class. This term, we've really enjoyed making Playdoh, Playing with Oorbeez and lying under the beanbag.
