Mrs S Vendy Co-opted Governor

Since moving back to the South Ribble area I wanted to get involved in the local community as I also recently retired following a career of over 35 years in the Commercial area at BAE SYSTEMS.

I now do voluntary work, including helping at Penwortham Foodbank and reading for the talking newspapers at Galloways. I relax by walking with my husband, going to the gym and socialising with friends.

I was honoured to be asked to join the Moor Hey School governing body and enjoy supporting staff and pupils as well as being the governor representative on the School Council.
