Monkey Puzzle Class

For the next two weeks I would like you to look at the theme - Autumn.

Activity 1

Can you make a sun catcher out of leaves?

Activity 2

Can you collect conkers and roll them in paint?

Activity 3

Can you go on a leaf hunt walk? Collect leaves as many leaves as you can.

What do they sound like when you stand on them? What do they feel like when you crunch them in your hands?

What colour are they?

Activity 4

Can you make a picture using your leaves? You could print them with paint or use the leaves to make a shape.

Activity 5

Funky Fingers

Use a cotton bud to dot over words.

Put pasta on top of a straw.

Learn to tie laces on a shoe.

Look out underneath for some more Autumn activities

Activity 6

Leaf hedgehogs

Glue autumn leaves to create a spikey body then add a cheeky face to finish them off.

Activity seven

Leaf cookies

Cut out leaf shapes from dough and decorate with food colouring or whatever you want. I like the idea of mint choc chip leaf cookies. Delicious!

Activity eight

Leaf threading - a great fine motor activity

Activity nine

Sorting autumn leaves - this could be done by size or colour

Activity ten

Use some leaves to create a leaf man or leaf lady. Make the shape out of leaves and decorate. I like the idea that Leaf-man could be a new superhero!
